- “မြန်မာ” ဆိုသည်မှာ ပြည်ထောင်စု မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသား ပတ်စပို့စ် ကိုင်ဆောင်သူ ရဟန်း၊ သီလရှင်၊ လူပုဂ္ဂိုလ်များ အားလုံးဖြစ်သည်။
- “ကျောင်းသား” ဆိုသည်မှာ စာသင်ကျောင်း၊ သင်တန်း၊ ပရိယတ္တိစာသင်တိုက်၊ ကောလိပ်၊ တက္ကသိုလ်၊ တို့တွင် တက်ရောက်၍ ပညာသင်ယူနေသူများ အားလုံးဖြစ်သည်။
- “အဖွဲ့အစည်း” ဆိုသည်မှာ မြန်မာကျောင်းသားများအသီးသီးပေါင်းစု၍ ဖွဲ့စည်းထားသော ပညာရေးဆိုင်ရာ၊ တက္ကသိုလ်အသီးသီးတို့မှ အသင်းအဖွဲများအားလုံးကို ကိုယ်စားပြုသော အဖွဲ့ဖြစ်သည်။
- “သီရိလင်္ကာ” ဆိုသည်မှာ သီရိလင်္ကာ ဒီမိုကရက်တစ် ဆိုရှယ်လစ် သမ္မတနိုင်ငံ ဖြစ်သည်။
- မြန်မာကျောင်းသားများ အဖွဲ့အစည်း-သီရိလင်္ကာ (Myanmar Students Association in Sri Lanka– MSAS) ဆိုသည်မှာ သီရိလင်္ကာ ဒီမိုကရက်တစ် ဆိုရှယ်လစ် သမ္မတနိုင်ငံအတွင်းရှိ စာသင်ကျောင်း၊ သင်တန်း၊ ပရိယတ္တိစာသင်တိုက်၊ ကောလိပ်၊ တက္ကသိုလ် အသီးသီးတို့တွင် ပညာသင်ကြားနေကြသော ပြည်ထောင်စု မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသား ပတ်စပို့စ် ကိုင်ဆောင်သူ ရဟန်း၊ သီလရှင်၊ လူပုဂ္ဂိုလ်များ အားလုံးပေါင်းစု၍ ဖွဲ့စည်းထားသော ပညာရေးဆိုင်ရာအသင်းအဖွဲများအားလုံးကို ကိုယ်စားပြုသော အဖွဲ့ဖြစ်သည်။
Definitions:
- “Myanmar” refers to all monks, nuns, and laypersons who are Myanmar citizens holding a Myanmar passport from the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
- “Students” refers to all persons studying in schools, training centres, Pariyatti monastic schools, colleges, institutions and universities.
- “Association” refers to an educational body formed by the collective of Myanmar students, representing all groups and associations from the various institutions, colleges, and universities.
- “Sri Lanka” refers to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
- Myanmar Students Association in Sri Lanka (MSAS) refers to an educational body formed by the collective of all monks, nuns, and laypersons who are Myanmar citizens holding a Myanmar passport from the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and who are studying in the various schools, training centres, Pariyatti monastic schools, colleges, institutions and universities within the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, representing all associated educational organizations.
